Quantify Runoff Reduction in the Zhang River Due to Water Diversion for Irrigation

In order to systematically analyze the impacts of climate change and human activities on runoff, this paper takes Zhanghe River Basin, which is greatly affected by activities, as research object, constructs an attribution analysis model runoff changes based historical data SWAT (Soil Water Assessment Tool) model. The results show that watershed has significantly decreased in past 60 years, contribution rate 36.2% 63.8%. Among factors, precipitation main contributing factor canal diversion among activities. addition, with decrease during flood season increase crop planting area catchment, distribution water also changed, consumption summer crops gradually become affecting diversion.
